What It’s Like Right Now in a Place Called Obama, Japan
Who knew about the fishing village called Obama about five hours west of Tokyo? Not only does this place share its name with the guy who will probably be the next U.S. president, but according to these weird celebrations going on there for Obama (the guy, not the city), it seems as though Obama (the city, not the guy) is using the U.S. presidential race to bring attention (and money) to the town. I personally cannot wait until Obama wins and takes his first trip to Japan to visit Taro Aso (my favorite world leader name at the moment) so he can make a pit stop in Obama. That would be powerful. It would kind of be like me taking a photograph here.
