There was also violence Auckland, New Zealand. Various people were assaulted by aggressive pro-China demonstrators.

I was attacked in Seoul and left with a bloody nose and torn clothes. I am American, visiting Seoul, I was simply giving the Chinese people a thumbs down, and when I turned around, I was attacked. Scary. They are nazis.

I've always thought setting one's self on fire was the perfect way to protest. None of this passive "holding a sign" stuff. If you're going to protest, you should mean business. Nobody will doubt your passion for your cause if you torch yourself.

While it is ironic that Communist China's torch was paraded through North Korea, I still think it was a positive event for North Korea
