The Party spoke out Friday about Wednesday’s embarrassing brawl that broke out in China’s friendly match against England’s Queens Park Rangers. The China Football Association released this statement Friday:

The China Football Association expresses its regret over this incident. We firmly oppose and condemn any kind of behavior that violates good sportsmanship. The China Football Association will earnestly investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident and strictly punish those responsible.

Also, according to a Reuters report Friday, seven of China’s players, the ones whom the CFA deem “responsible” for the brawl, have been sent back to China. This includes Gao Lin who apologized Thursday for provoking an opponent. You will see him in the video getting picked up and slammed to the ground. Watch for the flying kicks.
